  • 2 hours each week

Responsibilities​

  • Assist the Marketing and Social Media Coordinators in the development and execution of the HTDR communications strategy including website and social media content plans

  • Assist with the research, design, and development of engaging website and social media content

  • Implement updates on all HTDR platforms

  • Ensure all content maintains a brand-consistent web presence

  • Edit and fact-check materials to ensure correct information in articles and posts

  • Identify and report any issues with the website or social media posts (e.g. spelling errors, broken links, etc.) to a Social Media Coordinator

  • Research content and technologies to reach a wider audience

Required Skills

  • Passion for dogs/animal rescue

  • Strong written communication skills and a passion for writing

  • Proven ability to design engaging content

  • Knowledge of social media advertising platforms

  • Experience with WIX or willingness to learn how to use the platform

  • Understanding of SEO and other online content best practices

  • Research and analytical skills to identify new content and technologies

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities and timelines

  • Detail oriented to proofread and edit content

  • Willingness to work independently and as part of a team
