My Story

Nelly is a 14 month old English Setter who came to our rescue from Athens, Greece. She is spayed, approximately 25 kg, and is good with dogs, cats, and children.

Nelly was found tied to a tree north of Athens and Setter Help Europe stepped up to help this girl, vet her and arranged transport to Germany. Nelly is deaf, but that doesn’t stop her from living her best life. She knows some hand signals and is eagerly learning more. She is very sweet, affectionate, and adores people. We are still assessing Nelly but do feel she would be best in a home with someone who has previous dog experience, one committed to continue her training.
