When Kathy walked into a shelter 25 years ago looking for her first dog she was overwhelmed by the noise. Dogs were barking from every corner of the building. She knew then that the shelters were invaluable but even more important was a quiet home for these deserving animals to settle into a new life. Since then, Kathy dove into the rescue world fostering many dogs, and to date, has also adopted 6 dogs. Wanting to do even more, she knew she was ready to take on a new challenge in her life. Along with other like-minded ladies, she helped launch a new rescue with new ideas.
