Rennie

Position: Director

Dogs have always been a part of Rennie's life. She always wanted to help dogs in need, so nine years ago she started to foster dogs. It was an incredibly rewarding experience to be a part of a dog’s journey to health, happiness, and a family of their own. As hard as it was to part with the foster dog you have cared for and grown to love, seeing them thrive and be given a second chance with a new furever family of their own is so rewarding. It didn’t take long for Rennie to become a “foster fail” when IFAW Northern dog Buddy came into her life.  From the moment he walked through the door, he decided that he was home.

Buddy has had an incredible transformation from being homeless in a remote Northern community, to becoming a viral internet star with his love of tennis balls. He has brought joy to people all over the world with his antics clocking more than 108 million views worldwide of his viral video.

We, at Hopeful Tails believe all dogs deserve a second chance to live their best life and realize their full potential.
