My Story

Sun comes from the sunny island of St. Maarten. She is a Coconut Retriever which is an endearing breed name given to all of the island dogs. They are otherwise known as American Village Dogs. They are not breed specific. Their dna is made up of a variety of different breeds. Island dogs are known to be very loving, sweet, affectionate, smart and make great family dogs. Sun has been spayed and is up to date on her vaccinations. Coming into rescue at a young age, she has been well socialized with dogs, cats, adults and children. Curious, inquisitive and playful, Sun would do well with an active family. She is very smart and a fast learner making training a breeze.
