What are donations used for?
Hopeful Tails is 100% volunteer run and we rely heavily on donations, whether it be financial support for our high medical needs dogs veterinary services, food, supplies, pee pads, crates, treats and toys. We welcome gently used items and if we receive more than necessary, we happily share with our rescue partners, either local or abroad, depending on their needs. Nothing is ever wasted.
A dog wags its tail with its heart. Help make a difference today.
How does your contribution help?
Where do the contributions go?
Flight Angels
We appreciate any and all contributions. Everything that's donated to Hopeful Tails will be shared with rescue partners within our community and abroad who are in need of supplies such as food, leashes, collars, beds, etc. It's important for our rescue to support our partners so that we are able to help as many dogs as possible.
Each dog that is taken into our rescue requires a Martingale collar with a rescue tag, leash, slip lead, toys, a bed, food, and treats. Crates and baby gates will also be provided if needed. Donations will help to ensure all dogs are adequately supplied as they make their transition to their forever homes. To ensure sustainability within the community, once the dog is adopted, supplies will be washed and reused for new incoming dogs.
Our Flight Angel program is imperative to helping us rescue dogs from overseas. Donations will help to cover any necessary transport costs for the dogs. This will also include the costs to return the airline crates back to the original rescue as the purchase price is extremely high in their locations.
