Terri
Position: Director
Terri's home welcomes the companionship of two rescue dogs. Lucy is from a northern indigenous community; Ruthy came from the Rays of Hope rescue in Bahrain. Terri has been passionate about dogs since childhood. In her early teens, she traveled to dog shows throughout southern Ontario with her father and their two Newfs. For twelve years Terri volunteered at a local shelter and learned how wonderful rescue dogs can be. The mixed breeds of rescues are just as suitable for homes and families as purebreds. She transitioned from the shelter to rescue volunteering. She has placed many dogs with their "furever" families. Now, six years later, she is helping start Hopeful Tails, a brand new rescue. Terri looks forward to Hopeful Tails finding new homes for its rescues.
